08/21/2020 - On Friday, Aug. 21, St. John Fisher College officially welcomed the Class of 2024 to their new home. And, while students, parents, faculty, and staff may have been wearing masks, the face coverings couldn't hide the smiles, spirit, and enthusiasm on campus.

08/21/2020 - On Friday, Aug. 21, St. John Fisher College will officially welcome the Class of 2024 to campus. This will be the largest cohort of freshmen to arrive on campus in the College’s history; and this is the fourth consecutive year that Fisher has enrolled a class larger than 600 students.

Pharmacy Alumna Named 2020 Walmart Scholar Dr. Joy Snyder

08/20/2020 - Dr. Joy Snyder ’18 (Pharm.D.) was recently selected as an American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) 2020 Walmart Scholar. Snyder, who is currently completing a fellowship program through the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, is one of only 65 individuals from across the nation to be awarded the scholarship.

National Science Foundation Grant Funds Fisher Nanoscience Research Alexey Ignatchenko

08/13/2020 - Dr. Alexey Ignatchenko, associate professor of chemistry at St. John Fisher College, received a $213,652 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to support a fundamental research study in catalytic reactions on surfaces with a potential to improve the production of biofuel.
